Financial Information

Our office is a fee-for-service office.  As a matter of fairness to all of our patients, we are not “in network” with any insurance plan but often, depending on your insurance plan, we can still offer you care and help you obtain benefit.  It is, therefore, very important that you make us aware of the requirements of your insurance plan.  Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage.

Our office welcomes patients with Medicare but because much of oral and maxillofacial surgery is dentally based many of our services will, unfortunately, not be covered by Medicare.  Once we have a diagnosis, we are able to determine if our services will be covered by Medicare.

Patients with Medicaid are also welcome but we do require all Medicaid patients be referred by a dental or medical practice as an established patient in that practice.  If you are a Medicaid patient, please do not call us directlyfor an appointment but have your practitioner refer you.  Medicaid recipients are required to have your actual Medicaid card with you at the time of treatment and in the case that a copayment is due; it must be paid before you will be seen.  This is a requirement of the program.  Due to the severe limitations of NC Health Choice, we are unable to accept that coverage.

We strive to deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients.  Therefore, payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance.  For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Care Credit.  If questions arise regarding your account, our financial coordinator will try to help.  Please feel free to call (336) 768-9881.
