Background Information
Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Drs. Walter or Ringeman manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. Drs. Walter or Ringeman practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort. Our office can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and fractures.
Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery.
Our Staff
Our surgical staff at Salem Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is composed of experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants trained not only in administration of in-office anesthesia but also as assistants in surgery in both the office and hospital setting. Our administrative staff is informed about the scope of care that we offer and are well-versed in assisting with your appointment and insurance questions. Our entire staff is CPR certified and our doctors maintain certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
